HCA products support applications such as Ethernet, Industrial Ethernet, video, Power Over Ethernet, HDMI, Infiniband and more. For the U.S. market, the company imports and sells Hitachi products, including networking electronics, optical components, wires and cables, copper products and semiconductor materials. Manufacturing has been done at its Manchester, New Hampshire facility since 1986.

Hitachi Metals America Holdings, Inc., headquartered in Purchase, New York, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hitachi Metals, Ltd., serving as a North America’s regional holding company for its two group subsidiaries, namely Hitachi Metals Foundry America, Inc. and Hitachi Metals America, LLC.

Hitachi Metals Foundry America, Inc. has four operating manufacturing subsidiaries focusing on high-grade functional casting components and equipment and serves automotive OEMs and automotive suppliers and industrial customers in North America. Those include Waupaca Foundry, Inc., which is the biggest cast iron foundry in the world, AAP St. Marys Corp., which manufactures aluminum wheels, Hitachi Metals Automotive Components USA, LLC, which manufactures high-toughness ductile iron castings for automotive suspension parts, and Ward Manufacturing, LLC, which manufactures and markets malleable and cast iron pipe fittings and corrugated stainless steel tubes.

Hitachi Metals America, LLC also has four operating manufacturing subsidiaries focusing on high-functional materials. Those include Hitachi Cable America Inc., which manufactures and markets wires, cables and related products for both the automotive and communications segments, Metglas, Inc., which produces and markets amorphous metals for distribution transformer OEMs in the energy segment, Hitachi Metals North Carolina, Ltd., which manufactures sintered ferrite magnets for automotive segments, and Sintermet, LLC, which manufactures and markets tungsten carbide rod mill rolls for the steel industry. In addition to these four manufacturing subsidiaries, it has a few divisions which market high-grade metal products, magnetic materials and highgrade functional components serving the automotive, electronics, industrial, energy and consumers products segments.
