The Hitachi Climate Change Forum 2010 was themed on "Three Keys to Sustainable Urban Communities: Water, Power and Transportation". The forum aimed to provide a platform to U.S. opinion leaders to discuss environmental issues and propose measures for sustainable development of urban communities.
The Hitachi Climate Change Forum 2009 was focused on "Meeting Energy Needs, Reducing Environmental Impact". Apart from the keynote presentation by The Honorable John F. Kerry (United States Senator D-MA), the main highlight of the forum was the presence of academia, legislators, policy makers, and top level executives from across the country.
