
Hitachi’s Climate Change Forum aimed to provide a platform for key U.S. opinion leaders and technological experts to actively discuss issues regarding global climate change and the preservation of the natural environment. The forum featured panels organized by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), The Brookings Institution and Hitachi. A keynote presentation was delivered by United States Senator, John F. Kerry (D-MA).
The event attracted more than 400 attendees ranging from academia to legislators and policy makers and also included an Environmental Technology Exhibit featuring many Hitachi Group technologies.
