The Hitachi Climate Change Forum 2010 aimed to provide a platform for key U.S. opinion leaders and technological experts, to actively discuss issues regarding sustainable development of urban communities. The Hitachi Climate Change Forum featured panels organized by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and The Brookings Institution.

The keynote presentation was delivered by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Assistant Administrator ‘Peter Silva’. His presentation focused on the current debate on water policy in the United States.
