The keywords ‘harmony’, ‘sincerity’, and ‘pioneering spirit’ that express the founding intentions of the company, together with all employees understanding and sharing the ‘Hitachi Brand Platform’, inevitably result in the expression of a single, consistent message.

The development of Hitachi corporate statement started with the desire to create a message that could encapsulate ‘Hitachi Brand Platform’ in an easy to understand, straightforward, yet powerful expression.
To create Hitachi corporate statement, various viewpoints were considered with an emphasis on the essence of the ‘Brand Platform’ being ‘an attitude of continual innovation’. An appeal was made to employees to help decide a statement expressing this attitude, and numerous suggestions were collected for review. The Management Council and Board of Directors deliberated until a corporate statement was finalized that succinctly summed up the thoughts and feelings of Hitachi shareholders: ‘Inspire the Next’.
The phrase ‘Inspire the Next’ refers to not only the spirit infused into all Hitachi Group efforts, products and services, but also expresses the moral and material value that the Hitachi Group provides throughout the world.
