Iicon Corporation, the industrial display solution specialists, today announced an agreement with electronics giant Hitachi America, Ltd., Brisbane, Calif., a subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (NYSE: HIT) as an authorized value-added system and product integrator of industrial flat panel displays.

"We found a development and marketing partner that has in-depth knowledge of and a solid reputation in this important and growing segment."

"Hitachi and Iicon went beyond a simple sales relationship to bring our industrial display expertise to Hitachi's great display products," said Robert Steinberg, Iicon president. "This business partnership gives both companies an advantage in bringing advanced flat panel technology to new market areas."
