HITACHI APPOINTS THOMAS MORRIS TO POSITION OF PC CHANNEL SALES MANAGER

-- Thomas Morris will manage PC distribution for the United States. --

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA, www.hitachi.us, November 19, 2007 — Hitachi America, Ltd., Ubiquitous Business Platform Systems Division, Business Group has appointed Thomas Morris as the company’s new PC channel sales manager. In this position, Thomas will manage PC distribution for the United States.

Thomas has extensive industry experience, having served at Ingram Micro since 1998 as an account manager. In that time, Thomas built a strong customer base consisting of both commercial and government accounts by profiling SMB customers and capturing vendor leads. Mr. Morris has an MBA from Medaille College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Syracuse University at Utica College.
