Hitachi Trains Employees on Human Rights Awareness

Hitachi employees throughout the country receive regular compliance training, which includes important messages about human rights compliance concerns. The training defines human rights and explains how to address a potential human rights violation. These educational opportunities ensure that human rights are at the forefront of our employees’ minds as they make business decisions that align with Hitachi’s ethical standards.

In addition to this training, each year, Hitachi’s Executive Chairman, President & CEO Toshiaki Higashihara issues a message about the importance of human rights to Hitachi employees. Of 307,275 employees globally, over 178,000 received the message.
