LAS VEGAS, June 16, 2008 — At InfoComm 08, Hitachi Home Electronics (America), Inc., Business Group continues its successful and strategic relationships with key manufacturers in the A/V industry as part of the company’s Certified Solution Program. Through the Certified Solutions Program, systems integrators have access to a wealth of products that are optimized to work seamlessly with Hitachi projectors, addressing the complete spectrum of demands for presentation displays. These products include projector mounts, network connectivity devices, wireless presentation tools, projection screens and travel cases.

The benefits of the Certified Solutions Program will be on display at the Hitachi InfoComm C914 booth, which is showcasing the Peerless Mounts A100IWBMOUNT universal projector

mount, designed specifically for use with the Hitachi CP-A100 LCD projector and Hitachi Software FX Duo multi-touch interactive whiteboard. The A100IWBMOUNT allows the CP-A100 and FX Duo to be optimized together in a simple, user-friendly bundle.

Peerless’ A100IWBMOUNT enables the Hitachi CP-A100 projector to be independently adjusted horizontally and vertically, allowing the installer to align the projected image and the whiteboard perfectly every time. The screen height of the mount is adjustable by 12 inches, with depth adjustment of 14 inches. Additionally, the projector and screen can be raised and lowered together, while the mount’s counter-balance design allows for easy raising and lowering of the screen and projector. The wide wheelbase of the optional cart assembly (A100IWBCART) prevents users from tripping while working on the screen, and the cart assembly also features locking wheels and integrated cable management features, which provides a clean, finished appearance.

Additionally, Hitachi has added DNP Denmark as the newest member of the Hitachi Certified Solutions Program. DNP Denmark is one of the world's leading suppliers of optical screen technology. For over a decade, some of the largest developments in the field of rear projection technology have come from DNP Denmark’s laboratories - including the 200-foot DNP Giant Wide Angle Screen, the world's largest optical screen.

Now DNP has expanded into the front projection market with its groundbreaking Supernova Screen, representing a major milestone in the market, as it allows front projection to be used in brightly lit environments for the very first time.

“The Peerless Mounts A100IWBMOUNT exemplifies the benefits Hitachi’s Certified Solutions Program can afford systems integrators for all applications,” said Ray Soltys, director of sales, Business Group, Hitachi Home Electronics (America), Inc.

“Now, with the addition of DNP Denmark as the newest CSP member, systems integrators have greater access to products optimized to work with Hitachi projectors, allowing them increasing opportunities to lead with Hitachi.”
