Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, October 23, 2017 – Hitachi America, Ltd. will showcase innovation and education technology advancements at EDUCAUSE 2017 with its new 5000 lumen laser projector, Collegiate Series projectors, Solid State projector lineup, and new interactive flat panel displays.

“Hitachi America, Ltd. is committed to providing higher education facilities with the best solutions possible, at a price that is affordable,” says Andrew Mulazzi, Manager, Southeast Region, Hitachi America, Ltd. “We designed our OneVision program after extensive research with higher education AV and IT managers. We provide extended warranty on lamps and projectors, advanced replacement, direct access to Hitachi service specialists, and a rewards program to make large purchases easier for schools to afford. We’re proud of the program we’ve created.”

Hitachi’s newest laser projector, the LP-WU6500 is 5000 lumens with WUXGA 1920x1200 pixel resolution, a built-in 1.65x zoom lens, HDBaseT™ and 3 HDMI digital inputs, and is suitable for long life usage with an expected 20,000 hours of maintenance free operation.

The Collegiate Series was designed for medium- to large-venue applications with installation flexibility.
