Hitachi Koki Imaging Solutions and All American Announce Strategic Distribution Agreement

Key distribution network to meet growing demand for digital document production solutions

Simi Valley, CA, April 28, 2000…Hitachi Koki Imaging Solutions, Inc., (HiKIS), one of the world’s leading providers of printing devices, has announced the formation of a strategic relationship with All American Distributors, LLP, of St. Petersburg, Florida., to provide distribution of its digital document solutions to office equipment dealers across the United States. The announcement was made today at a press conference in Las Vegas where the annual BTA (Business Technology Association) convention is being held.

The new All American relationship is expected to greatly expand HiKIS’ market reach while maintaining cost efficiencies which will benefit both dealers and end users in the commercial digital copier and printer industry. Under the terms of the agreement, All American will serve as the first key distributor in a national network to deliver the HiKIS DDC-series Digital Document Copiers and DDS-series Digital Document Server printers to small- to mid-size dealers in the U.S. In addition to distribution, All American will provide sales support, on-line dealer support, customer service and technical assistance.

Initially, All American will focus on HiKIS’ 30-40 ppm Segment 3 products for this market which include the very successful 32ppm DDS 32 and the 40ppm DDS 40 multi-functional network products with print, copy, and fax and scan capabilities. In addition, All American will also be a key distribution source for the newly-released 35ppm DDC35n connectable digital copier.
