Hitachi participated in the 105th Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), on December 1 -6, 2019 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. This event featured more than 700 companies which gave RSNA’s almost 53,000 attendees the opportunity to view some of the latest innovations in healthcare. Hitachi has been attending RSNA for over 20 years and returned to the event this year to showcase the next level of human-centric healthcare systems.
Some of this year’s focus topics at RSNA included AI, the latest advancements in CT, radiology, and data storage solutions. Hitachi, focused on showcasing improved healthcare and medical imaging, highlighted their wide portfolio of imaging solutions with their OASIS™ MRI and SCENARIA View CT. Halfway through the event-packed week, Hitachi hosted their annual Imaging Insiders customer event at Chicago’s Field Museum for almost 1100 people.

Mark Silverman, CT Marketing Director at Hitachi Healthcare Americas, presented a keynote at RSNA to highlight new innovations in diagnostic imaging technology that gives healthcare professionals the ability to provide a better patient experience, improve workflow efficiency, and deliver diagnostic confidence. In addition, Silverman showcased the advanced capabilities of Hitachi’s SCENARIA View CT, which features a lateral shift ability that allows for easier patient positioning and a higher data sampling rate.
